By December 28, 2021, the civil engineering of the new ion exchange resins factory of Sanyi Co. has been completed.

Cation exchange resins output of the new factory will be 50000 tons per year, including 10000 tons of food grade cation exchange resin, 30000 tons of industrial grade cation exchange resin, 5000 tons of macroporous weak acid acrylic cation resins and 5000 tons of chelating resins. The construction of all ion exchange resin workshops will be completed in September 2022.

Organic ion exchange resins have undergone more than 80 years of development since they came out in 1935. Now, ion exchange resins, adsorption resins and other new types of resins have become the most important components of polymer materials with adsorption and separation functions. Especially in the last 20 years, ion exchange resins and adsorption resins have evolved from general water treatment materials to functional polymer materials widely used in industry, agriculture, high science and technology, and military fields.

After the completion of the new ion exchange resin factory, its newly increased output of ion exchange resin is mainly used to meet the needs of the international market.
